The Stripers have showed up in numbers of VA Beach and Oregon Inlet with a 73 lb VA State record Striper Caught in January.
Second year in the row rhat the record was busted.
The experts say due to the Young Of Year index from 20 years ago that 2008 will have a record year for over 50lb Stripers.
The problem is that most of them will be south of the Cape.
The 80-140 lb Bluefin that were around last year should be 150-250 lbs this summer.... Better put 100 lb line on your
50W's...
